✓SIMPLE TWO-BOLT STARTER-LOCATION INSTALLATION: Remove the starter, position the LS flywheel holder over the starter mounting location, and secure it with the two included proper-length grade 8.8 bolts. The locking section engages the ring gear without requiring a separate crankshaft holding fixture.
✓HOLDS THE CRANKSHAFT DURING HIGH-TORQUE SERVICE: The flywheel locking tool engages the flywheel or flexplate ring gear teeth to help prevent crankshaft rotation. It provides a secure holding point when removing or tightening the harmonic balancer bolt, or while servicing the flywheel and flexplate.
