✓PRECISE FIT - Features a 2" trailer ball diameter, 1-1/4" threaded shank diameter and 2-5/8" shank length. The 2" measurement refers to the trailer coupler connection, not the shank size. Requires a ball mount with a hole sized for the 1-1/4" shank; the mounting hole must not exceed the shank diameter by more than 1/16".
✓CORROSION-RESISTANT - Protected by a durable chrome-plated finish that helps resist rust, scratches and corrosion caused by rain, dirt, road salt and other outdoor elements. The protective finish helps maintain dependable performance during repeated towing applications.
✓SECURE INSTALL - Includes a zinc-plated hex nut and helical lock washer for secure attachment to a compatible ball mount. The mounting platform must be at least 3/8" thick, and the fine-threaded shank requires 450 ft-lbs. of installation torque. Ball mount and receiver hitch are sold separately.
✓TESTED FOR SAFETY - CURT trailer hitch balls are tested to meet U.S. VESC V-5 specifications for dependable towing performance. Verify the trailer coupler size, ball mount hole diameter, shank dimensions and towing capacity before installation. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in the towing system.
