✓FITMENT - For Sea-Doo carbureted 2-stroke PWC with the Rotax 717 and 720cc engine: GS, GTS, GTI and GTI LE 720. Carbureted only, not RFI fuel injected. Match the number stamped on the old module before ordering.
✓REPLACES - Replaces BRP 278001496, also numbered 278-001-496 and 278000916. BRP 278001796 and 278000930 are related numbers for the same module. No OE supplier number applies. LINGYAO is an independent aftermarket brand, not genuine BRP.
✓BUILD - Sealed ABS and nylon marine case with an epoxy-potted circuit board, the multi-pin main plug and a separate DESS post lead. One module per pack. Mounting screws, the DESS lanyard and the wiring harness are not included.
✓FUNCTION - Drives CDI ignition timing, the starter relay and the over-rev and oil safety cut. A lanyard on the DESS post completes the start circuit. Resolves no spark at the plugs, a relay that clicks without firing and intermittent cut-out.
✓BEFORE ORDERING - Sea-Doo 717 and 720cc carbureted 2-stroke only, with 278001496, 278000916, 278001796 or 278000930 on the old module. Not for RFI models, not for 787, 800 or 951, not for 4-TEC. Disconnect the negative battery.
