✓PLUG AND PLAY, WITH ROOM TO ADJUST: it works out of the box - connect fiber and RJ-45 and the link comes up, no software, no drivers, nothing to configure. In the rare case you want more control, four DIP switches let you turn Link Loss Forwarding on or off, enable broadcast storm control, or drop the fiber port to 100Base-FX for older Fast Ethernet gear.
