✓FUMED SILICA THICKENER: Hydrophilic fumed silica works as an epoxy thickener and rheology modifier in compatible resin and coating systems. Add gradually to help increase viscosity and gain better control over flow, placement, coating and filling work.
✓HELPS CONTROL SAG AND FLOW: Build a thicker working consistency for vertical or overhead applications. A properly thickened mixture can help reduce runs and sagging so material stays closer to the intended application area. Results depend on the resin system and mix level.
✓ADJUSTABLE WORKING CONSISTENCY: Add in small increments to move from lightly thickened mixtures to heavier, paste-like consistencies. Useful for compatible epoxy, gel coat, fiberglass, marine, gap-filling, fillet and coating projects.
✓ADD GRADUALLY AND CHECK: Prepare the base material as directed, then introduce small amounts while mixing slowly and thoroughly. Check the material ribbon or placement behavior before adding more. Different systems require different amounts, so test a small batch first.
✓1 QUART BY VOLUME: Fumed silica is an extremely lightweight fine powder, so a full-volume container may feel much lighter than dense mineral fillers. 1 Quart refers to volume. Add slowly to minimize airborne dust, use appropriate ventilation, and follow the current TITGGI SDS and base material manufacturer’s instructions.
