In the south, it's warm enough that you can add a box on top of your bee hive without the fear of letting the cold in. Southern Hives don't need two dedicated deep brood boxes for winter.
This Starter Hive comes with everything you need except the bees. The most common way to buy bees is by buying 5 full frames in a 'Nuc'. This 5-frame starter beehive is 'Nuc Ready'.
