✓430 STAINLESS - AND YES, A MAGNET STICKS: A magnet will stick to it: 430 is a ferritic stainless grade, so that is normal and does not mean it is not stainless. It is rust resistant and easy to wipe down, for indoor use.
✓1 IN. BACKSPLASH AND BULLNOSE EDGE: A raised 1 in. rear backsplash stops items sliding off behind the shelf, and the rounded bullnose front edge is smooth to work around and simple to clean.
