✓APPLICATION: 4910 transparent mounting tape utilizes a general purpose adhesive. It is commonly used in applications to join transparent material or where clear or colorless tape is preferred. It is specifically designed for good adhesion to metal, glass and plastics such as polycarbonate and acrylic. Joining transparent material. Mount backlit translucent signs. Edge-bond resin filled glass. Metal, Decorative material and trim Nameplates and logos. Panel to frame.
✓FEATURE: Virtually invisible fastening keeps surfaces smooth. Can replace mechanical fasteners (rivets, welds, screws) or liquid adhesives. ✓INSTALLATION AND REMOVABLE: At room temperature, approximately 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. Spraying alcohol on the tape then it is easy to peel off.
✓STEPS FOR APPLICATION: 1. Cleaned your object with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. 2. Wipe your object with adhesion promoter and wait for drying time of 30-90 seconds. 3. Open the tape first, lay it down onto table (backing liner face down) and use a knife to cut a corner of adhesive side for easier film liner removal. 4. Apply tape to the object vertically and do not peel off the backing film during curing process.
