✓Features for Spiral Sewn & Treated, respectively ➡️ Diameters: 6” each | Holes: 1/2” each | Thickness: 3/4” each | Ply counts: 55 & 50 | 100% cotton & chemically treated cotton.
✓Spiral Sewn can be used for most polishing jobs and is dependable, versatile, and long-lasting. Its plys are stiffly together, increasing the hardness of the wheel, so that greater pressure can be applied when polishing for faster cutting.
✓Treated buffing wheels have a special chemical added to the cotton which gives them a longer lifespan, and a more aggressive cutting action allowing them to work faster than standard buffing wheels.
✓To be used with polishing compounds. To apply polishing compounds, simply spin the buffing wheel on a motor or drill and gently press the compound to the wheel. The heat and friction of the spinning wheel will be enough to transfer a small amount of the compound onto the wheel for polishing.
