✓BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Febco Bronze Pressure Vacuum Breaker Backflow Preventer Assembly provides the ultimate mechanical protection of potable water against cross-connection contamination hazards. It is used to protect against health hazard and non-hazard back-siphonage of toxic or non-toxic liquids and meets the specifications of the USC FCCCHR Manual.
✓THERMAL EXPANSION PROTECTION: Designed for minimum head loss, this bronze assembly is equipped with a plastic bonnet to protect from freeze damage, a spring-loaded check valve, air relief valve with opening port, two resilient seated shutoffs and test cocks, and NPT end connections. It has a maximum working pressure of 150 psi (10.3 bar) and a temperature range of 32 degreesF to 140 degreesF (0 degrees C to 60 degrees C).
✓FREEZE SENSOR: Includes a freeze sensor compatible with SentryPlus Alert technology, signaling facility personnel when temperatures near and reach freezing point. An optional freeze sensor connection kit is available to activate a monitoring system for low and freezing temperatures.
✓VERSATILE APPLICATION: This assembly is ideal in health hazard continuous pressure applications, including water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants. It is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feeds, water lines, and other installations where maximum protection is essential.
