✓Easy to Use: This epoxy thickener is designed to be used alone for a smooth and non-sagging high-strength mixture. Additionally, it can also be combined with fillers or fibers to prevent them from sagging.
✓Designed for Resin: This fumed silica is formulated to provide sag resistance, as well as anti-settling and anti-corrosive performance. Our colloidal silica ensures high shelf stability and mechanical reinforcement in epoxy coatings.
✓Small Size: Our fumed silica comes in a 4oz package and can be mixed with other fillers to create custom blends. Cabosil can be added to any type of resin mix and simply stirred by hand.
✓Technical Features: This Cabosil filler may be synthesized by high temperature hydrolysis of SiCl4 in O2(N2)/H2 flame. The formula is amorphous and it possesses a very high specific area. The microdroplets of amorphous silica fuse into a branch and form a chain-like agglomerate, which helps to thicken the resin mixture.
